Carney Architects Receives Two National Design Awards

Carney Architects, a Jackson architectural firm, has received two national design awards from the 2007 Custom Home Magazine Design Awards program.  The firm received a Grand Prize for the Accessory Building Category for the Queen’s Lane Wine Silo project and a Merit Award for the New Fork Social Club Residence in the 3,000-3,500 sf Residence Category.

Of the 500 entries accepted from across the nation, these projects represent two of only 25 chosen by an esteemed jury of architects and builders.  The awards will be presented May 4, 2007 at The Best in Housing awards dinner that will be held during the annual American Institute of Architects National Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
