Performing Arts Pavilion Cited in AIA Awards Program
The Arts Design Collaborative received a Merit Award from the Western Mountain Region of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for its design of the new Jackson Hole Performing Arts Center. The ADC, a partnership of Jackson design firms formed to provide architectural services for the Performing Arts Pavilion of the Jackson Center for the Arts, consists of Stephen Dynia Architects serving as Design Architect and Carney Architects serving as Executive Architect. This is an exceptional honor for Jackson’s highly acclaimed cultural venue which, since its opening earlier this year, has presented a broad range of events for music, theatre and dance groups. AIA awards at this level are given to a small minority of the over 200 entries received through a process of critical review by a jury of fellow architects. The awards will be presented September 15, 2007 at the Western Mountain Region Chapter of the AIA Conference in Reno, Nevada.
