Inspired by: Juan David grew up in Medellin, Colombia, where he spent his childhood helping his father construct their family home. Over five years of labor alongside his father, his fascination for architecture grew. This early immersion in building not only instilled a deep appreciation for craftsmanship but also sparked a passion for the artistry and functionality of architectural design. In 2008, he immigrated to the United States, where he had the opportunity to live with his aunt and her husband, Ken Hardy—an accomplished architect. Under Ken’s mentorship, his passion for architecture flourished, and he delved into the intricate world of architectural design, absorbing knowledge and refining his skills. His journey in architecture became his true calling. He envisions a future where he can merge his love for design with his desire to make a meaningful impact on society. Inspired by his upbringing and experiences, Juan David aims to create homes that not only provide shelter but also embody sustainable practices. His vision extends beyond mere structures; he dreams of homes that harmonize with nature, utilizing natural and recyclable materials to minimize environmental impact. Through his work, he aspires to contribute to the well-being of communities and individuals, aiming to build homes that are not just spaces but also symbols of hope and resilience.
